If you would like to host a webinar, there are a few webinar tools you will need to be professional and effective.

The first webinar tool you need for creating your webinar is a webinar set up sheet. On this sheet you need to list:

- your webinar OBJECTIVE (sales, a phone appointment, education?)

- the TITLE of your webinar (This should describe the benefit of your webinar to your viewers.)

- what you plan to COVER on your webinar

- “your STORY” (credentials or how you had the same problem and overcame it)

- CASE STUDIES (real-life examples of how you, or others you have helped, have been successful with your product or services)

- EDUCATION (This is when you can give them some of your best tips and tricks for their business.)

- ROAD BLOCKS to success (obstacles that will keep them from solving the problem)

- CALL TO ACTION (This is where you encourage them to act on what you’ve shown them. Go to your website, buy your product or service, or call for an appointment.)

The second webinar tool is a background template for your powerpoint presentation. When you create your template, include these things:

- background graphic - Have a graphic made that sets you apart and conveys the message of the webinar. Paste this graphic as the background image on your master slide.

- your picture - Again on the master slide, insert your picture in the top left corner so that people can identify with you as a person. It also helps the audience to link a face with your voice.

-bullet points that show up when you click your mouse - Go to the “custom animation” option and have each line on your presentation appear when you click your mouse in the master slide.

-call to action URL - Write out your website’s URL at the top of your master slide so that your “call to action” can be seen on each slide. Your website should feature a buy button, a phone number to call, an email option form, etc.

To set up a webinar, you need the following tools:

- webinar hosting - A webinar hosting account lets you present your audio and video to hundreds of people at the same time. A few webinar hosting companies include: GoToWebinar, Manexa, Omnovia, Web Ex and Adobe Connect

-a web page for registration - Your webinar hosting company will likely provide you with a registration page, but I recommend creating your own. Remember to sell your webinar by showing your potential customers what is in it for them. This is known as being “benefit driven.”

- autoresponder - You want to remind them of the upcoming webinar (even after they register). And you definitely want to follow up with them AFTER the webinar with your call to action.

So there you have it! A few webinar tools for creating your webinar. Set up your webinar right and there is no telling how successful your webinar will be!

How To Super-Power WordPress SEO

Wordpress out of the box provides primary management of the main SEO meta data. To extend the functionality we add our own super-charged version of the All-In-One-SEO Pack. The SEO pack makes it simple to modify the page title and page meta description.

The All-In-One-SEO Pack is a great WordPress plugin that completes the SEO aspects for WordPress. For some reason WordPress still has not got the SEO fixed out of the box.

The All-In-One-SEO Pack allows you you to change the most significant page components - page title and page description. It also permits you to change the page keywords, but as we all know, search engines no longer take note of these because they have been spammed too much in the past. Google stopped using the keywords for page ranking in the early 2000’s.

Page Titles

This is the No1 SEO component to manipulate. Constantly make sure that you manipulate the page title. The page title appears in the browser window at the very top of the screen. Search engines use this in the listings and display it in their search results.

Ideally the page title consists only of appropriate keywords and nothing else. To make the text more human readable then we often add a pipe character (

The page title is the MOST significant SEO page element because it is like the title of a book. And just like a book title, if it is good it will be more engaging to readers.

If your page needs to extend to cover two or three keywords we have learned that you can still get good rankings from adding multiple keywords to the title. However, always try to make the page title as close to the keyword you want to rank for. Adding extra non-beneficial words detracts from the results achieved.

If you are a larger branded company you will probably want to add your company or brand name into the page title seeing this is displayed on Google. Keep it short and uncomplicated though. Do not add your brand statement just your brand or company name.

Page Descriptions Meta Tags

This element is NOT used by search engines for ranking purposes. All The Same, most search engines will utilize this in their search results so it is important. Google does not use the description all the time but we find that it uses it about 80-90% of the time. The rest of the time it will pick up the first piece of text on the page.

By having a good description it will increase your click through rates because the text will be more engaging to people. Ensure that you use a maximum of 156 characters. If you use any more characters Google will cut short the rest. If you can keep your descriptions to–0 characters or less this is even better seeing Google sometimes adds a date to the opening of the description which is part of the 156 characters it displays.

Changing the meta data and page title

At the bottom of every page and post you will find the meta tags plugin details. Update the details appropriately. Note: If you can only use see the title for the plugin and no details, just click the title and the section will expand.
